I wanted to do a little catching up on what we have been up to since
Christmas. It has been a great start to a new year, but in the past few
weeks we have had a LOT of rain. Rainy and cold days with little ones
means way too much time inside our own four walls. I felt as though as
the hours and then days passed, I was watching our house deconstruct- at
first just the playroom was a mess, then the girls bedrooms, then the
kitchen and the living room, and then we just turned into a mess. We
wore pajamas all day, didn't brush our hair, and I had to resolve to be
at peace in a wrecked house and make the best of our time inside.
Thankfully the sun has come back out,
and I can document how we spend
the cold and rainy days of winter.
